This virtual exhibit documentary relates the life of Portland violin virtuoso Susie Fennell Pipes and the story of the Neah-Kah-Nie String Quartet which she founded, along with the Portland Chamber Music Society. The survey of Portland chamber music in the first half of the 20th Century includes Susie Fennell Pipesʼs most significant colleagues including violinist and conductor Theodore Spiering, cellists Ferdinand Konrad and Michel Pehna, violists Alexander Vdovin and Abraham Weiss and violinist Hubert Sorenson.
